Michelle Saunders Haney, PT, MSPT, Director Michelle is the Director of Euro-Pēds and is also a Licensed Physical Therapist specializing in pediatrics. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Child Development and a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Central Michigan University. Prior to becoming the Director of the program, Michelle worked at Euro-Pēds as a PT and the PT Manager. She has been with the Euro-Pēds clinic since 2001. When asked why she chose the field of pediatric physical therapy, Michelle explains that her sister who has severe mental & physical disabilities was her inspiration. In her free time, she enjoys photography, traveling, camping, gardening, and spending time with friends and family.

Anne Mancour, B.A., Communications Coordinator Prior to joining Euro-Pēds in 2004, Anne’s career had been in broadcast advertising sales, events marketing and journalism. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from The University of Michigan, a graduate certificate from Oakland University in Complementary Medicine & Wellness, and is a certified yoga instructor. She came to Euro-Pēds to begin a new career path more closely aligned with her interests in health and children with special needs. “I am honored to be able to communicate the extraordinary efforts that the Euro-Pēds’ therapy staff and families do for kids on a daily basis.” In addition to working for the Euro-Pēds center, Anne also is acting Marketing & Public Relations Director for Doctors’ Hospital of Michigan.

Mary Reynolds-Tharp, Office Coordinator Mary brings a background in insurance billing and medical office experience as well as a B.S. in Health Services Administration. Mary helps schedule patients, assists families with getting the right documentation from doctors' offices and generally accomodates our patients and their families. "They used to tell you in Girl Scouts to leave a place better than you found it, and I believe I can do that here because of the way we positively impact the lives of children," Mary stated about her role. She will be celebrating 24 years of marriage with her husband, Jerry, with whom she has 2 daughters, Michelle and Melissa.

Pam Montroy, Office Assistant Pam is one of the first to greet you as you come into the Euro-Pēds reception area with a genuine smile and desire to help. She has an Associate’s Degree in Business Management and has been a veteran healthcare worker within management, personnel supervision, scheduling, and sales, among other responsibilities. When she’s not helping patients at Euro-Pēds she is running around helping her two children and spending time with her husband. She loves her job, the children, and the interaction with their parents. “I’ve always wanted to work in a hospital. I love to help, and I love to give.”

Mel McGinnis, MPT Mel is a licensed Physical Therapist who received her Masters in Physical Therapy from Oakland University and has additional training and experience using European-inspired tools such as Suit Therapy and the Universal Exercise Unit. She has worked as a therapist at Euro-Pēds since 2004. Mel is also responsible for presentations about intensive physical therapy at various conferences and hospitals around the country. Melissa and her husband, Craig, have one daughter together.

Jenn Wichterman, PT, DPT Jenn is a graduate of University of Michigan's Doctorate of Physical Therapy program. Prior to joining Euro-Peds, she worked in Tennessee at an outpatient clinic where she developed her own pediatric base of clients. During PT school, she was also a personal respite care worker for a boy who had cerebral palsy, which led to her desire to work exclusively with children. Jenn participated in a mission trip to China with Joni & Friends' "Wheels for the World" program in which she helped fit people for wheelchairs. In her spare time, she runs competitively and enjoys participating in a local Bible study program.

Carol Goubeaux, PT With nearly 30 years combined experience working with children with “everything from brain tumors, to CP, to Muscular Dystrophy,” Carol has brought a wealth of knowledge to the Intensive Physical Therapy setting at Euro-Pēds since 2005. Ten years of her experience was gained as a PT in Children’s Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio, and fifteen years was from the New York state school system in Early Intervention and School-aged programs. She earned her degree from The University of Kentucky’s PT program. Describing what keeps her so committed to the challenging field of pediatric PT, she explains, “I just love to see the kids beaming with pride when they learn something new.” She and her husband have three grown children. When she’s not working, she enjoys sewing, reading and traveling.

Tracy Romatz, PT Tracy was one of the first intensive physical therapists to work in the United States when she began working at Euro-Pēds in 2001. She has a Master’s Degree from Oakland University’s Physical Therapy program with additional training and experience in the European methods of intensity.
Angela Kraj, PTA Prior to joining Euro-Pēds in 2005, Angela worked at Pennrickton Center for Blind Children in Taylor, Michigan, as a child care worker for multi-disabled children and interned at Detroit Institute for Children. Angela focuses her therapy on making sure the children have fun while working toward their full potentials. She is a practitioner of meditation and yoga, and loves animals, nature, children, traveling, and joyful living. Angela has an Associates of Applied Science from Henry Ford Community College.

Shelley Wolak, PTA Shelley has worked at Euro-Pēds since 2005. She has a Physical Therapy Assistant degree from Macomb Community College, with additional training in Euro-Pēds intensive PT methods. Her career choice was strongly influenced by growing up with a younger sister who has Cerebral Palsy. “After seeing all she’s been through, I wanted to help kids like her,” Shelley explained. Her clinical at Lamphere School District in pediatrics reinforced her decision to work with children.

Kathy Todd, PTA Kathy earned her PTA degree from Baker College in Flint, Michigan, in 1999. Her interest in working with children who have special needs started when she worked in group homes before attending college. She learned about Eruo-Peds while working as a school-based PTA where she met children who had participated in Euro-Peds' intensive physical therapy program. Kathy also has worked in a traditional hospital-based pediatric therapy program and outpatient rehabilitation programs. In her spare time she likes crafting and golfing. Kathy is married with two daughters and a son.

Angie Daoud, PTA Angie has a PTA degree from Macomb Community College. Prior to Euro-Pēds, she worked with Lamphere School District with children having special needs from early preschool through high school. “Kids can really benefit from the long treatment time we have with them at Euro-Pēds,” she commented when comparing her role as a therapist within the school system. She also said that Euro-Pēds is a great place to help the families of special needs kids, too. Angie has a 7-year-old son.

Karla Wickerham, Aide Coordinator Karla has been an invaluable member of the Euro-Pēds staff since 2003. She graduated from Mott Community College with an Associate’s Degree in general studies, and has pursued additional studies in Early Childhood Development at The University of Michigan. Prior to working at Euro-Pēds, she taught preschool and substituted in the public school system. Karla also has worked in a daycare center and special education. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, scrapbooking, and being with her husband and two daughters.

Ashley Clifton, PT Aide As an aide that puts her heart and body into every session with antics that never cease, Ashley’s infectious spirit motivates the children to work towards their full potential. Her background in theatre and cheerleading combine for a motivating therapy session full of gusto, much to the delight of the Euro-Pēds patients, parents and staff.
Kathy Stull, PT Aide Kathy is a certified para-educator for Oxford Schools and works with children with special needs. She’s had over 20 years of experience working with children with special needs, and is excited to be working as a physical therapy aide at Euro-Pēds since 2004. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.
Scott Rogowski, PT Aide Scott began working with children by running sports camps for kids. After focusing on a career path in Health Sciences at Oakland University, he wanted to continue working with kids and began volunteering at Beaumont Hospital’s Sports Day for Children with Special Needs. He now works part-time for Euro-Pēds as an Aide while taking classes. “I enjoy working at Euro-Pēds because watching the kids improve week-in and week-out is rewarding in itself. It’s great to see their expressions when they reach a milestone.” Scott plans on advancing to the Doctorate in Physical Therapy program at Oakland University.
Autumn Childers, PT Aide Autumn is working to complete her degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant, specializing in pediatrics at Oakland Community College. She works at Euro-Pēds and also in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Doctors’ Hospital of Michigan. Autumn keeps herself busy, but makes time to listen to her music collection and enjoys sitting around campfires.

Allegra Rowan, PT Aide Allegra is the oldest of six girls, was a camp counselor, and has taught Sunday school and vacation bible school. When not working as a PT Aide for Euro-Peds, she attends Oakland University where she is enrolled in the DPT (Doctorate in Physical Therapy) program. She has worked at an orthopedic outpatient clinic but would like to specialize in pediatrics after earning her DPT.
Erin Raupp, PT Aide Erin is currently attending Oakland University working towards a degree in physical therapy. She decided this was her interest when she was a nanny for a little girl having special needs. Erin enjoys swimming, spending time outside, and working with babies and young children.
Tara Hunter, PT Aide Tara was a benefits administrator until her twin sister suffered a massive stroke and Tara became her caregiver. Tara said that watching the physical therapists rehabilitate her sister motivated her to go into the field of health and physical therapy, and she chose to work at Euro-Pēds so she could also work with children. She is currently a student at Macomb Community College and will likely be transferring to a University to earn her Physical Therapist degree. She also graduated in January ’06 as a certified myomassologist.
Ross Turner & Dutchess Ross Turner has been a teacher by day, and a volunteer at Euro-Pēds at night, along with his Pet Assisted Therapy Dog, Dutchess. Ross is a teacher of Religion as well as Chairman of the Theology Department at De La Salle High School in Warren. He rescued Dutchess from a dog pound and nursed her back to health 5 years ago. Dutchess became a registered Therapy Dog with Therapy Dogs, Inc. out of Cheyene WY, through Dr. Paws Pet Assisted Therapy training. Dutchess began administering Pet Assisted Therapy to the children at Euro-Pēds and other areas of the hospital in 2007.
Mary Crocker & Kobe Mary and Kobe are weekly volunteers at Euro-Pēds administering pet-assisted therapy to patients and their families. Kobe was certified as a pet-assisted therapy dog by Therapy Dogs International (TDI, Inc.). In addition to selfless hours of volunteering at Euro-Pēds and other areas of the hospital, Mary serves on the board of the Pontiac Boys & Girls Club, The Boy Scouts of America and other service organizations. Mary and her husband, Ralph, also own Nutech Graphics, a printing company in Pontiac, MI. They recently acquired three horses and an 8-acre horse farm where Kobe and 4 other Crocker canines are adjusting nicely to life in the country.
